Customary Inflow of ZSP Programs Praised
The Collection Committee of Home Affairs recently welcomed the typical influx of applications for permits under the brand new Zimbabwean Special Permit (ZSP) of 2014. This new dispensation uses the imminent expiration of permits issued under the Dispensation for Zimbabwean Project (DZP) of 2009. The project was initially applied to help the certification of the large numbers of Zimbabwean nationals in South Africa.
The permits were planned to expire at the conclusion of December 2014. Consequently, the Minister of Home Affairs announced on 12 August the newest system to continue the permits. Beneath the DZP approach, the department issued 242 731 permits and denied 51 780 applications. The new procedure will look after most of the 294 511 candidates who submitted applications underneath the previous process. That is inclusive of the programs which were denied beneath the DZP process.
