“This is a departure from the existing mode of manual application processes that are responsible for inefficiencies within the permitting environment,” Gigaba said.

VISA and Permit Applications 

In accordance with Minister Gigaba, applications will be handled by VFS Global, an international outsourcing and technology service specialist for diplomatic missions and governments. However, Visas and permits decisions will be adjudicating from the Department of Home Affairs.

VFS will open four new practices in the provinces where it’s expected that you will see large numbers of people. These are Gauteng, Western Cape, Limpopo and Mpumalanga.

The new practices can be in addition for the 11 practices previously opened, that can deal with ZSP programs.
